<p>Margaret Marie (Jill) Ferguson, 96, met her Saviour on September 16, 2020 in Broken Arrow, OK. Jill was born in Danville, IL on December 15,1923, to George W. and Helen Brooks. She graduated from Danville High School in 1942. She attended Utterback Business College in Danville and became a surgical stenographer at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville in 1944. She met Roy Ferguson in January, 1945 while he was an aviation cadet at Chanute Field, IL. The couple married on November 25, 1945 in Danville. Afterward they moved to Stillwater, OK where Jill worked as a secretary to put Roy through school at Oklahoma A &amp; M(now Oklahoma State University). Their first son, Roy Coleman Ferguson III, was born October 5, 1946. Their second son, George Ed Ferguson, was born November 2, 1949.</p> <p>Jill and Roy, purchased his parents&rsquo; turkey breeding business in Shawnee, OK in 1948. In 1970, they sold their turkey breeding business, which had joint ventures in 13 different countries and went into the corporate field.</p> <p>They moved to Boston, MA. Jill was a member of the Boston Executives Club, comprised of the top 100 executives in the Boston area, 1972-1975. The couple moved to the Atlanta, GA area in 1975, then on to Gainesville, GA where they lived on Lake Lanier. Jill was employed in Georgia as an executive secretary.</p> <p>While in Georgia, Jill and Roy established a financial consulting practice, of which Jill was a partner. The practice eventually involved over 60 different kinds of businesses and professions which specialized in large scale agriculture and banking.</p> <p>They moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1981 to be with their grandchildren. Jill was a founding partner in establishing The Ferguson Group. One of the highlights of her life was when she hosted Ronald Reagan at their home for dinner before he ran for governor of California. She had Governor Bellmon in their home at one time. When they had the turkey business, it was a standing joke that she ran an international hotel because they were always having guests from all around the world nearly every week. Jill traveled with Roy many times all over the world, including Europe, Russia, and China. However, Jill many times stayed home running the businesses while Roy traveled the world on business.</p> <p>Jill was preceded in death by her parents, George and Helen Brooks and her sister Betty Jean Brooks.</p> <p>She is survived by Roy Ferguson, her husband of nearly 75 years, her two sons, Roy C. Ferguson III,his wife, Mary, George E. Ferguson,and his wife, Cathryn. Grandchildren: Jeff Ferguson, Blake Ferguson, Joey Minick, her husband, Mike, Bryant Ferguson, and his wife, Haven. Also, great-grandchildren, Coleman, Jordyn, Kennedy and Blake Ferguson, Chase and Eliana Minick, Connor, Tyler, Morgan and Dylan Ferguson.</p>
