She transitioned on September 16, 2020. She was preceded in passing by her son, Kevin Horton and her brothers and sisters, William McAuthur Dean, Curtis Dean, Geraldine Guy, and Rosa Nell Harris. Lillie was one of ten children, three sisters (Pauline, Geraldine, Rosa) and six brothers (William McAuthur, Roosevelt Jr., Walter, Floyd, Curtis, Bobby) who all affectionately called her “Sister”. Lillie received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a very young age. She was a loving mother of four children, Aubrey, Rickey, Kevin, and Hope. Everyone who knew Lillie “Sister” loved her and knew she loved to sing. One of her favorite songs was “Lord Don’t Move My Mountain.” Left to Cherish her memory are her children, Aubrey Horton, Rickey Horton, and Hope Hayes; her grandchildren, great-grandchildren; her surviving sisters and brothers, and countless nieces and nephews.
