Nyah Jo Crowther Alamosa, Colorado Obituary

Nyah Jo Crowther

Nyah Jo Crowther, 10, of Sanford, Colorado, passed away on September 13, 2020. She is survived by her parents Toby and Rachel Crowther; her sisters Tay and Remy Crowther; her paternal grandparents Keith and Lorrie Crowther of Sanford, CO; maternal grandparents Norine Frasier of Sanford, CO and John Rilling of Alamosa, CO; her great-grandfather Kenneth Kreps of Sanford, CO along with eight aunts, eight uncles and many cousins. Nyah is preceded in death by her great-grandparents Raymond and Verla Crowther, Wilford and Alice Facer, Oswald “Ozzie” and Betty Rilling and Jeraldine “Jerry” Kreps. Nyah has always been a beautiful spirit and anybody that got to meet her knew this. Nyah knew no stranger. She instantly became one hundred percent committed to the well being of each and every individual she met or even heard about. Nyah was your instant friend. Meeting and being with people gave her the greatest joy. Secondary joys to Nyah were skiing, cooking, sports, reading, poetry, arts and crafts, but overall anything that she could do with her sisters and family. She found the balance in life as she loved being/doing things in the outdoors but also enjoyed a good outfit and a pretty shade of lip gloss. Through all her trials, Nyah remained true to herself by staying happy and optimistic about life with no complaint ever being made. She displayed constant obedience, bravery and strength. With love, forever and always. A Graveside Service for those that knew her will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2020 in the Sanford Cemetery. Rogers Family Mortuary is in care of the arrangements. To leave online words of comfort, remembrances and tributes for Nyah’s family, please visit www.RogersFunerals.com
