Zoe Ann Sawyer
<p>Zoe Ann Berberick Sawyer, age 76, of Crossett, AR, passed away on September 15, 2020. She was born in Stamps, AR, on July 3, 1944 to her mother, Maudie M. Ward. She was a CNA, babysitter, and enjoyed ironing and cleaning. She was of the Baptist faith. She loved visiting with friends and family, eating out and helping others when she was able. She enjoyed reading her Bible and listening to gospel music, especially The Bolins, her nieces and nephews. She was an avid reader and had the memory of an elephant. She could remember birthdays, anniversaries, death dates, and most everything. Christmas was her favorite holiday.</p> <p>Zoe is preceded in death by her mother, and her husband of 45 years, Johnny (J.M.) Sawyer.</p> <p>She is survived by her half brother, Richard Hobb (Norma), of Kilgore, TX; her aunt, Jo Ella Mechelle, of Strong, AR; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.</p> <p>A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Thursday, September 17, 2020, at Crossroads Cemetery with Johnnie Bolin speaking, and under the direction of Jones Funeral Home, Inc. Pallbearers are Frank Higginbotham, Sammy Bolin, Billy Bolin, Royce Bolin, Johnnie Bolin, Jesse Riley, and Tod Rice.</p>Obituary
