EUNICE~ With heavy hearts and great sadness we announce the passing of Nettie Lintzen Louviere, on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans.  She was 81. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 18, 2020 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Interment will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Father Hampton Davis Celebrant.

     Nettie was a 1957 graduate of Eunice High School. After graduation she worked as a bookkeeper for Weill’s Department Store, West Brothers as a manager of the jewelry department and a manager for Pauline Sportswear for women until her retirement in 1982. She enjoyed vacationing and traveling with family and friends.  She loved shopping, gardening and playing in her flower beds. But most importantly she loved spending time with her family.  She will be missed and forever in the hearts of her two daughters, Thanda Domingue and husband, Carl, Nadenia “Dena” Fabacher and husband, Andre all of Eunice; her two granddaughters, Jada F. Smith and husband, Jonathon and Callie T. Fabacher all of Eunice; her great granddaughter, Elizabeth Blake Smith of Eunice; her sister, Novellar Granger of Thibodaux; as well as extended family and friends.

      She is preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Lorraine Wedlock Lintzen and her husband, Bennett Louviere.

     At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice, on Thursday, September 17th from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Friday, September 18th from 9:00 am until time of services.  Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm on Thursday, led by the St. Andre Family.
