Steven Funaki Theron Iongi

Steven Funaki Theron Iongi, age 12 passed away September 8, 2020 at his home in Orem. He was surrounded by family sweetly singing him from this life into the eternity. Born on February 3, 2008 in Provo, Utah Naki was the beloved son of Latanoa Hawaii Iongi and Jenilynne Ofa Ki Tonga Kehaulani Lua-Iongi. He was a child of light. He was one of those special spirits who strove to always do what was right and be obedient. He had many siblings and was a peacemaker among them. Naki never asked for much and always shared with his brothers. He loved music, dancing, football, helping people, Heavenly Father and Jesus. He smiled easily and often. He had a hard life. He survived Kawasaki’s disease, and being hit by a car only to be taken from us by a rare and incurable cancer called DIPG (brain tumor) After his diagnoses he said “ It’s okay if I die, I will be my brothers’ guardian angel and make sure they be good.” We were so blessed to have this beautiful boy in our family Steven is survived by his parents, siblings: Cannon Mulitalo, Tila Taufo’ou (David), Taycie Peterson, Latanoa Iongi Jr., Inej Iongi, Salote Iongi, Howard Iongi, Talynne Iongi, Ta’ane Iongi, Steeler Iongi, Stryker Iongi, Suntesi Iongi, RJ Akoteu. Grandparents: Toni Lua, Salote Loloma Tukuafu Kioa, Fasi and Marlena Iongi . Many aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by brother Tyrayll, grandfather Howard Lua. We know you are dancing, smiling, talking with all your loved ones before and finally at peace, happy and pain free. WE LOVE YOU ALWAYS NAKI WE WILL MISS YOU SOOOOOO MUCH WATCH OVER US AND VISIT US IN OUR DREAMS SON 💙🙏🏼 RIL OUR SWEET NAKI BOY
