Tony Kirk Lamar, born Dec. 10, 1956 in Jacksonville, FL, Duval County. He was the 4th child born to the late Leroy Lamar Sr. native of Jacksonville, FL and Lillie Ruth Taylor Lamar who was born in Thomasville, GA. T.K. lived in Gainesville, FL at Tacachale most of his life where he learned life skills. He was non-verbal but could express very well what he liked and what he did not like. He loved his family and was always excited to see them when they would come to visit. He also loved to take walks, good food, milk shakes of any flavor, music and to watch BET. He dressed well and often chose his own clothing/outfits when they would take him shopping. His shoes always had to match his outfit. Yes, he was a true Lamar. Our beloved brother is survived by his brother Leroy (Marcia) Lamar Jr. of Stone Mountain, GA; Six nieces and nephews, Minister Leroy III (Janelle) Lamar of Atlanta, GA, Geamar (Melanie) Lamar of Morgan Hill, CA, Geamel (Sonia) Lamar of Morgan Hill, CA, Marion Bryan Lamar of Stone Mountain, GA., Rebecca Danielle of Lithonia, GA and Rachel Michelle Lamar of Decatur, GA; One Aunt Theresa (David) Smith of Ellenwood, GA; Thirteen great nieces and nephews and a host of cousins and friends. He was also preceded in death by his brother Henry Thornton Lamar and sister Ernestine Lamar.
