Eugene A Webber

Eugene was born to Marjorie and Merlyn G. Webber, June 27, 1925 in Portland, Oregon. He grew up in Portland and attended Washington High School. He joined the army August 26, 1943 and landed on Omaha Beach in France as a medic during the war. He was discharged honorably from the army January 15, 1946. Gene married Betty J. Bliss March 13, 1944. They had 4 children, Suzie, Cheryl, Steve and Ed. They lived in the Parkrose area of Portland where Gene had a dental lab with his partner Jack. After 20 years, he moved on to work as a letter carrier for the Parkrose Post Office. After retirement, they moved to Hebo, Oregon near Pacific City on the Oregon coast. Gene and Betty traveled to many places in the US, Canada and Bermuda in their retirement years. Gene’s wife, Betty passed away August 10, 2016 after 72 years of marriage. Gene is survived by his 4 children, 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
