Dorothy Meador, 92, died peacefully at home Sept. 6, 2020. Dorothy lived a full life as a wonderful mother and homemaker. She loved to cook, was highly skilled with crochet hooks, paint brushes, embroidery needles and a sewing machine. A farm girl at heart, gardening was her passion! Most of all she loved her family and instilled in her children strong values that have served them well. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Everette, the much loved mother of Pat (Sheryl), Mike, Dan (Maureen), Dennis (Yumei), and Kathy (Dave). She was the cherished grandmother of Katsia, Lori (Brad), Greg (Sheila), Chris (Juli), Joseph (Adrianna), Daniel (Sorin), and Makayla. She was the great-grandmother of Kylee, Alex, Drea, Cora, and Brooklynn. Dorothy was the second born of ten children and is survived by John (Betty), Helen (Kurt), and Jim. She is remembered by many nieces, nephews, and friends. A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Salesian Missions in her honor.
