Geraldine L. Buchholz, 82 of Brazil, passed away September 12, 2020 at Union Hospital. She was born November 22, 1937, the daughter of Walter R. Boyce and Bertha Jeffers Boyce. She graduated from Bowling Green High School, Class of 1955. On November 22, 1956, she was united in marriage to her husband Melvin Buchholz. They were members of the Union United Methodist Church. Geraldine was a homemaker and devoted wife, mom, and Mimi to her grandchildren. She enjoyed helping care for her grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was an active supporter, along with her husband, of the Jackson Township Volunteer Fire Department. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Melvin Buchholz in 2017; a grandson, Larry House II, and a granddaughter Courtney Walker Broady. Survivors include her two daughters, Tammie Broady and husband Michael of Brazil and Sara House and husband Barry of Nesbit, MS; grandchildren, Tyler Broady, Tessa Stearley (Trent), Tyler House (Morgan); great-grandchildren, Hayden Broady, Hadley Broady, Gannon Stearley, Renlee Stearley, Cali House, Ellisyn House, Savannah House, Swayze Freeman; brothers, Donald Boyce (Shirley) of Greenfield, John Boyce (Cheryl) and Jack Boyce (Karen) all of Brazil; many nieces, nephews and extended family and neighbors. Services will be held Wednesday at 1:00pm at Lawson-Miller Chapel with Pastor Doug Davis officiating. Burial will follow at VanCleve Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11-1. Donations may be directed to the Jackson Township Volunteer Fire Department; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
