PATRICIA C. BRAGG Patricia C. Bragg, 88, of Piqua, died at 2:58 am Sunday, February 28, 2016 at the Koester Pavilion. She was born July 16, 1927 in Piqua to the late Frank and Emma (Bird) Houser. She married Robert Bragg May 1, 1948; he preceded her in death November 25, 2000. Survivors include a son James D. Bragg of Piqua; a daughter-in-law Diana Bragg of Pt. Pleasant, West Virginia; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Robert Kent Bragg, two brothers and a sister. Mrs. Bragg was a 1945 graduate of Piqua Central High School and earned her degree as a Registered Nurse from the St. Elizabeth Hospital School of Nursing in 1948. She enjoyed a career as a Registered Nurse to children at the former Dettmer Hospital for over fifteen years, she then worked for the private practice of Dr. Dale Hudson. Additionally, she and her husband owned and operated Pat & Bob's Lamp Shop in Downtown Piqua for over twenty-six years. A service to honor her life will begin at 1:30 pm Thursday, March 3, 2016 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Chalk officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to one's favorite charity.
