Hilchie, Erma Frances- 85, Pleasant Harbour, passed away Thursday September 10, 2020 in Ocean View Manor. Born in Pleasant Harbour October 5, 1934 she was a daughter of the late Esson & Elva (Clattenburg) Hilchie. Erma had a great love for her family and friends, she could be found playing cards, darts or dancing at East Ship Harbour Legion. She worked for many years at Abriel Fisheries. Erma leaves behind her son Roger (Beverly), grandchildren Darren (Michelle), Tracey (Jeff), great grandchildren Grace, Abby, Michael, Luke, brothers Buster, Ronald, sisters, Hazel, Leah, Betty and Shirley. She was predeceased by son Basil, brother Bobby, Avon, sister Doris, Edith, Eva and Ruby. Cremation at taken place. A graveside committal service for immediate family only due to Covid-19 will be held Thursday September 17 at 2:00p.m. in St. Peters Anglican Cemetery, Murphy Cove Rev. Lorraine Otto officiating.
