Millinocket – Richard Wesley Yost, Jr, 76, died suddenly on Friday, September 11, 2020 while enjoying one of his favorite activities, yard saling, with his wife, Judith, by his side. He was born May 4, 1944 in Millinocket, the son of Richard W. and Irene (Tapley) Yost. Richard enjoyed travelling to Florida each winter. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Dick was a member of several Veteran’ Service Organizations, including the DAV, VFW, and the American Legion. Dick was a friend of Bill W. for 41 years, and aided many other friends along the way. He is survived by his wife, Judith D. (Tilton) Yost; four sons, Richard W. Yost, III, Robert W. Yost, Jonathan D. Odom, and Rockney M. Odom; a daughter, Gina L. Nadeau; six granddaughters, Rebecca Kelley, Sierra Yost, Paige Yost, Mackenzie Yost, Lindsie Fogg, and Kylie Fogg; three grandsons, Wyatt Yost, Matt Yost, and David Nadeau; four great granddaughters, Avery Kelley, Lillian Nadeau, Eleanor Nadeau, and Charlotte Fogg; a great grandson, Julian Fogg; two sisters, Roberta Yost, and Robin Yost; a brother, Russell Yost; and an aunt, Marjorie Michaud; a son in law, Paul Nadeau; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Dick was predeceased by a brother, Ronald Yost, a sister, Ruth Tash; his ex wife Mary Yost, a daughter Tina Fog, and an uncle, George Tapley. Graveside services will be held 1 PM Saturday, September 19 at the Millinocket Cemetery. .
