It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eric Ingram announces his passing on Saturday, September 12 at Bay St. George Long Term Care at the age of 85. Born in Port aux Basques, Eric was the son of the late John and Julia (Vautier) Ingram. He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his sons, Terry (Tammy), Clayton (Janet), Michael (Lilly) and daughter-in-law, Cathy; grandchildren, Richard, Amy, Kristin, Crystal and Megan; great-grandchildren, Christian, Liam, Colton, Brayden, Avery, Dani, Thomas and Myles; brothers, Bob (Lucy), and Doug; sisters, Collie and Sis; brothers and sisters-in-law, Horatio (Lucy), Roland (Beverly), Sylvia (Don), Bob (Harriett) and Gary, many nieces and nephews, and a large circle of friends. Eric was predeceased by his wife, Kathleen, son, Thomas, brother, Gerald, and grandchildren, Samantha and Luke. In keeping with Eric’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving friends and family on Saturday, September 19 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Oceanside Funeral Home, 23 Read Street, Port aux Basques. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 20 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jane Allen officiating at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill.
