Kathleen Brooks 76, of Church Road, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020 at her residence.  She was born August 1, 1944 in Kentucky to the late Walter Raymond and Elta Irene Rose Garland and was preceded in death by her husband George D. Brooks; son in-law, Robert; and her siblings. Kathleen was a member of Central Baptist Church in Dinwiddie. She is survived by two daughters, Terry Brooks-Schneider and Dawn Marie Schweibold; grandson, Robert and wife, Diana, and a granddaughter, Rebecca; three great-grandchildren Elijah, Catherine, and Craig and numerous nieces and nephews.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at the Crater Road Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Home, 3935 S. Crater Rd., Petersburg, VA 23805.  A procession will leave the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. with a graveside service to follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, VA.  Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com
