It is with great sadness that we the family announce the death of our brother Allan, which occurred on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at the Alderwood Rest Home in Baddeck. Allan was born in Baddeck on August 10, 1955 to the late Jessella (Bennett) and George MacDougall

Allan was a kind and generous man who lived a basic and peaceful life in his much loved Baddeck.

Allan was a long-time employee of Nova Scotia Department of Transportation and greatly enjoyed and cherished the fellowship of his co-workers, his many close friends, and his family.

Allan is survived by brothers; Francis (Melissa) Kingston, Ontario, and Carleton (Karen) Kelowna, British Columbia. Aunts; Jamie (Bennett) Hanson, Halifax, and Christine (Bennett) Holland, Montreal, and niece Jessica (Andy) Kingston, Ont and nephews Christian, Kingston, Ont; Patrick, Belleville, Ont: James (Ann Marie and daughter Emma), Belleville, Ont.  He was predeceased by his parents, brother James, Uncle Richard and Paternal grandparents Richard and Julia (MacAulay)Bennett and Maternal grandparents Donald and Flora (MacCormack) MacDougall.

Allan was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Baddeck and was a former member of the Baddeck Lions Club.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 from 4-8pm at Knox Presbyterian Church Hall, Baddeck, and funeral on Wednesday, September 16, at 2pm from Knox Presbyterian Church, Baddeck, with Rev. Brian MacLeod officiating. Burial later in Little Narrows Presbyterian Cemetery, when family can travel. Family Flowers only. Genge, Dr. Chow, Dr. Heuehan, Victoria County Homecare, Victoria County Palliative Care, Inveraray Manor and Alderwood Rest Home for their excellent care provided to Allan.

Due to Covid-19 Regulations the wearing of masks and social distancing are required.
