Clifford J. Nelson Jr. of New Milford, known to many as "Butch," passed away on August 29, 2020 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born March 5, 1956 to Lena and the late Clifford Nelson Sr. Butch is also survived by siblings: David Nelson and Jeffrey Nelson, both of New Milford, Brenda Nelson of Bantam; his two children: Christopher M. Nelson and Stephanie R. Pascual; and his first grandchild McKenzie Lee Nelson due in November, all of New Milford; along with many uncles, aunts and cousins. He is also survived by his longtime girlfriend, Lori Lutinski, of New Milford, CT. 

Butch attended John Jay High School in NY before becoming a mason working side by side with his dad for many years.

He enjoyed hunting and the great outdoors, but his greatest passion was his love of fishing which he has passed on to his son.
