<p> </p> <p>Karen E. Karsten, age 72, of Reedsburg, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2020 at home after a battle with cancer. Karen was born on September 19, 1947 in Minneapolis, MN, to John and Ethel (Larson) Thurner. She was united in marriage to Roger Karsten on June 6, 1965.</p> <p>Karen is survived by her husband Roger; son Brian (Dori) Karsten; daughter Kristine Karsten; and the light of her life, her grandchildren Brittany and Kyle Severson, and Jenna Karsten whom she loved very much; her sister Carol Algrem; and her beloved dog Josie.</p> <p>Karen was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and a brother.</p> <p>There will be a private family service at a later date.</p> <p>The family would like to thank Agrace HospiceCare for the loving care they provided.</p> <p>The Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, is assisting the family.</p>Obituary
