<p>Richard L Freeman, 70, passed away in Chestertown, MD on September 9, 2020.</p> <p>He was born on July 6, 1950 in Richmond, VA; the son of Paul and Joan Craighead.</p> <p>Richard is survived by his wife, Esther Karen Freeman; his son Richard Freeman, Jr.; daughters Tasha Muscarella (Sean) and Jamie Grant (John); his grandchildren, Sheyenne Grant, Gabriella Muscarella, Angelina Muscarella, Johnny Grant, Jr., Jerry Grant, Naomi Freeman and Kaya Freeman; brother Anthony Craighead; sisters, Sue Martin and Nalda Smith.&nbsp; Richard Freeman was preceded in death by his brothers, Doug and David Craighead.</p> <p>Richard L. Freeman was a proud member of the 20th Combat Engineering&nbsp; Brigade for the United States Army.&nbsp; He has multiple Certificates and Awards from his service with the Military.&nbsp; He was a man who loved his family, loved to fish and loved being a Vietnam Veteran and serving his county.</p> <p>Due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis, services will be private.&nbsp; Please feel free to share your condolences to the family and memories of Mr. Freeman on our tribute page.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Richard L Freeman, 70, passed away in Chestertown, MD on September 9, 2020.

He was born on July 6, 1950 in Richmond, VA; the son of Paul and Joan Craighead.

Richard is survived by his wife, Esther Karen Freeman; his son Richard Freeman, Jr.; daughters Tasha Muscarella (Sean) and Jamie Grant (John); his grandchildren, Sheyenne Grant, Gabriella Muscarella, Angelina Muscarella, Johnny Grant, Jr., Jerry Grant, Naomi Freeman and Kaya Freeman; brother Anthony Craighead; sisters, Sue Martin and Nalda Smith.  Richard Freeman was preceded in death by his brothers, Doug and David Craighead.
