Judy Thomas went home to be with her lord and Savior on September 9, 2020. She was born on 

January 17,1946, to Myrtle E (Patrick) and John Herman Zoet in Aloha, Oregon. Judy graduated from
Sunset High School and moved to Washington D. c., working as a grocery checker at Grandunion and
Safeway Super Markets. There she met and married pharmacist, Charles Thomas, on March 5, 1965.
They were married 55 years and raised a son and daughter, Chuck and Jodi. After moving back to
Oregon to raise their family, Judy worked at Kaiser Permanente as a Pharmacy Technician for 20 years
until retirement.

Judy was a Sunday school teacher and Children's ministry worker for 40 years and was active in
women's ministries in her church. Judy found great joy spending time with her family, extended family
and friends, cooking for and serving others. She was always the first to offer help when needed, or to
help others celebrate - with a delicious meal, encouragement, laughter, fellowship and prayer. Judy
loved fishing, traveling and attending all the sporting events that her children and grandchildren
participated in. She loved making floral arrangements from the many varieties of flowers that her
husband grew as a hobby, providing beautiful bouquets for church events, her workplace and family and
friends.

Judy is survived by husband, Charles; two children and their spouses, Chuck and Carolyn Thomas, and
Jodi and Brent Stapleton; two grandchildren, Brady and Ben Stapleton; and sister, Joyce Olson
(McMinnville, Oregon). Her younger sister, JoAnn, preceded her in death.

A graveside service is planned for September 19 at the Redland Pioneer Cemetery. Judy will be greatly
missed by all who knew and loved her.
