Steven Lamont Floyd, age 65 a resident of McDowell Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Gary, WV; formerly of Welch, WV and Pageton, WV, who departed this life on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at the Welch Community Hospital was born August 18, 1955 in Welch.  He was the son of the late Lee Edward Floyd Sr. and Betty Jenkins Floyd.  Steve completed his high school education and held several positions in the work force.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two of his brothers, Joel Floyd and Lee E. Floyd Jr.,  He leaves cherished memories to his five brothers:  Larry (Linda) Floyd and Jeffery (Gwen) Floyd both of Columbus, OH, Maurice Floyd of Kansas City, MO, Randy Floyd of Vancouver, Canada and Rodney Floyd of Rock, WV and two sisters, Joyce A. Floyd of Long Island, NY and Brenda Hendricks of Wood bridge, VA and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins and a special friend, Barbara Smith of Havaco.   A family viewing was held and a memorial service is scheduled for a later date.  Services entrusted to Gregory-Page Funeral Home in Welch.
