William E. Adams Obituary

William E. Adams passed away unexpectedly on December 10th 2015 at Highline Medical Center in Burien, Washington at the age of 87. He was the son of Willie and Martha Adams. He was born on April 22, 1928 in Simsboro, Louisiana and grew up in Grambling, Louisiana and attended Grambling University. He was employed by the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Seattle, Washington as a foreman for Building Management Service. Where he had many fishing buddies, and played on the VA softball team. He retired on May 1, 1984. He also enjoyed many activities & hobbies including; fishing, hunting, baseball, basketball, football and especially watching the Seattle Seahawk games. He was a Corporal in the United States Army during the Korean War from 1950-1956. He received the Korean service medical with four bronze service stars and the combat infantry badge. He is survived by his brothers Joseph and Frederic; his sisters Virgie and Jessel; his sons Ronnie and Brian; his daughters Olinda and Vickie. Daughters in law Chris and Cheresa and sons in law Dolyn and Micheal. He leaves ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. A funeral and interment graveside service will be held. The viewing will occur on Saturday December 19th between 11:00am – 3:00pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday December 21st between 11:00am and 12:00 at Marlatt Funeral Home in Kent, Washington. Interment will be at Tahoma Military Cemetery between 1:30 and 2:00pm.
