Jerry C. Olivas, Sr.

Jerry C. Olivas, Sr., 58, of Glendale, Arizona passed away on September 9, 2020 in Glendale. Jerry was born on March 17, 1962 in Phoenix, Arizona to Manuel and Juanita (Candelario) Olivas. Jerry was united in marriage with Maria (Celaya) Olivas and worked for the water department for City of Buckeye. Jerry loved Raiders football, fantasy football, traveling, throwing barbeques and Super Bowl parties, and above all, spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his parents Manuel and Juanita Olivas, brothers: Ralph and Robert and sister Irene. Jerry is survived by his wife Maria Olivas; children: Barbie, Jerry Jr., Tianna (Ruben), Derek and Albert (Anarosa); 6 grandchildren: Sofia, Victoria, Xavier, Olivia, Jaleena and A.B.; brothers: Richard, Raul, Manuel, Armando, Luis and Joe; sisters: Margie, Rosemary, Ruth, Dora, Julie and Gloria; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Private Services will be held at St. Helen Catholic Church, Glendale and interment at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Avondale.
