Randy Lee Winebrenner, age 52 of Independence, Kansas passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at his home in Independence, Kansas. 

Cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 12 at 2:00 p.m. at his home in rural Independence, Kansas. 

Randy was born June 17, 1968 to Bobby Joe and Sharon Ann (Brown) Winebrenner. He grew up in Independence, Kansas and graduated from the Independence High School. Randy was a jack of all trades he had currently worked for Springer Family Foods in Maintenance. He also owned and operated Sycamore Valley Calls a past time that he was proud of and enjoyed sharing with his buddies.  He was an avid hunter and also loved fishing, knapping arrow heads, woodworking, training dogs, smoking meat on a smoker taller than himself and watching YouTube Videos.  He was a proud member of the “Bucket Club” with the ones he considered brothers. 

On November 7, 1987 Randy married Melissa Baer at the First Southern Baptist Church in Independence, Kansas. The couple made their home in Independence, Kansas and proudly recognize their near 33 years together in marriage.

Survivors include his wife Melissa of the home; His Father Bobby Winebrenner, Mother In Law Peggy Wood, Father In Law Jim (Carol) Baer, three children Michael (Tesa) Winebrenner of Independence; Levi Winebrenner stationed at Bethesda Maryland; Erin (Amy) Hilyard of Independence; two brothers Rusty Winebrenner and Ricky (Shannon) Winebrenner both of Independence; one sister Bobbie Henry Winebrenner of Independence; eight grandchildren Bentley, Riley, Kingsley, Ellen, Tanner, Averie, Conner, Brody and numerous adopted grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother Sharon Ann Winebrenner in June of 2012, Grandparents Gerald and Myrtle (Eades) Winebrenner; James Lee and Marjorie Brown, and Wayne Wood. 

Randy was a friend to everyone and a stranger to none.  Those that knew him well will always remember him for Marie and Aramadillo’s.
