Kenneth Dale Wheeler Obituary

Kenneth Dale Wheeler, 69, of Princeton, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana surrounded by the love of his family.  He was born on August 10, 1951 in Wabash County, Illinois the son of George and Helen (Lucus) Wheeler. Kenny was very proud of his family and loved the time he spent with them.  He loved being outdoors and some of his best memories are of fishing on the Wabash River with family and friends.  Kenny was very proud of his work as a welder where he spent many years at the powerplant.  He will be missed by his family and all who knew him. Kenny will be remembered by his three sons, Kenny Wheeler II of Mount Carmel, Nick (Susan) Wheeler of Sumner, Dakota Wheeler of Mount Carmel; two daughters, Emily (Joel) Wolfenbarger of Princeton, IN and Amy Wheeler of Benton, IL; grandchildren, Jordan Prosise, Sydney Phillips, Trace, Mia and Zoey Varnado, Haley Terpening, Jacob Wheeler, Tasia Knowles, William Wheeler, Alissa Wheeler, Samuel Wheeler, Emalynn, Anabella, Lucus and Liam Wheeler; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Paul (Glee) Wheeler and Jerry Wheeler; two sisters, Beverly Wheeler and Ruby Wiles; many loved cousins, nieces and nephews. Kenny was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Daryl, George, Donnie and Jim Wheeler; sister, Carolyn Wheeler. In keeping with Kenny’s wishes, cremation will take place and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Keepes Funeral Home is serving the family with the arrangements.  To view Kenny’s tribute wall and leave condolences for the Wheeler family, please visit www.keepesfuneralhome.com
