James E. French Obituary

James E. French, age 74 years, of Plymouth, died Monday, September 7, 2020 at Plymouth Crossings. He was the husband of the late Doris (Hayes) French and the son of the late Luther Hamilton and Frances Elizabeth (Love) French. Born in Stoneham on January 6, 1946, he was raised in Brockton and Holbrook. James worked in sales for over twenty-two years for Esselte Pendaflex. He was a United States Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. James was an avid New England Patriot’s fan and enjoyed reading. He enjoyed playing pool and was formerly on a competitive team. In his earlier years he was a member of the Plymouth Lions Club. James also enjoyed mountain climbing and was proud to have climbed Mt. Fuji in Japan. He is survived by his three daughters, Karen French and her husband Richard Garcia of Plymouth, Michelle Patrico and her husband Thomas of Plymouth and Jamie Ianiri and her husband Christopher of Plymouth, and his three grandchildren, Sean Patrico and his wife Jes, Jason Patrico and his significant other Nicole, and Morgan Ianiri. He was the brother of Jon, Mark, Ann and Philip French, and the late David French, Thomas French and Laura Skeen. Graveside services will be held at the National Cemetery of Massachusetts, in Bourne on Friday, September 18, 2020 at 10AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cranberry Hospice in Plymouth.
