<p>JoAnn W. Counts, 73, of Livingston, Montana, passed away Tuesday, September 8th, 2020 at the Billings Clinic surrounded by her loved ones. Cremation has taken place at Franzen-Davis Crematory. A private family graveside memorial will take place at Mountain Viiew Cemetery.</p> <p>JoAnn was born on December 21st, 1946 in New Rockford, North Dakota to Martha Veen and Bill Whetham.</p> <p>In 1966 she moved to Montana. On July 8th, 1971 she was united in marriage to Russell E. Counts. The marriage was blessed with a blended family including 7 children. They shared 37 years of marriage before Russell’s passing in 2008.</p> <p>JoAnn enjoyed gardening, playing guitar, camping, crossword puzzles, canning, and traveling to see her family. She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren.</p> <p>JoAnn is survived by her children, Shonna (Larry), Terry (Anna), Brian (Brenna), Webster (Jennifer), Becky (Lance), Eddie (Misook), Lorri; 6 siblings, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.</p> <p>JoAnn is preceded in death by her husband, Russell; daughter, Michelle; son in law, Steve; granddaughter, Vicky.</p> <p>Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements. </p> <p> </p>Obituary

In 1966 she moved to Montana. On July 8th, 1971 she was united in marriage to Russell E. Counts. The marriage was blessed with a blended family including 7 children. They shared 37 years of marriage before Russell’s passing in 2008.
