HILLSBOROUGH: James E. Thompson, age 76, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 from a brief illness surrounded by his family in his home. He was born in Durham County, the son of the late Alfred and Velva Thompson. He was an auto mechanic. Lovingly remembered by his wife of 57 years, Brenda Turner Thompson. He is survived by his sisters, Faye Roberts and Judy Smith; daughters, Gina Thompson, Lorrie Dunn, Nita Gregory; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. No services will be planned at this time.
