David A. Street

David A. Street, 77, of Colona, Illinois, died Thursday, September 10, 2020, at Centennial Rehab & Healthcare, Moline, Illinois. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home. David was born July 21, 1943, in Centerville, Iowa, to Tracy Lewis and Katie Marie (Brandt) Street. David had many loves, grandchildren being top priority. Throughout David’s life, he enjoyed owning Courtesy Construction with is partner Dennis Stahl. He grew many friendships owning this company and gave himself a strong heart. While siding and windows was his profession, he also loved to play cards with great friends who he cherished. Towards the end of his quality of life he joined Pinnacle Country Club and enjoyed life on the golf course with amazing people. When stage 4 lung and brain cancer hit in 2010 he was given 6 months to live. His strong heart and determination didn’t allow that to happen. David beat the cancer and has loved spending all his time with his kids and grandchildren. Those left to honor his memory include: Daughter Tracy Street (Albert Dual) and children Payton Swan and Brinlee Dual. Daughter Michelle Barreto (Carlos Barreto) and children Cody Blagden, CJ Barreto, Chelsea Barreto (Thomas Lindauer) and children Caydance Arrington and Luka Lindauer. Daughter Stacey Lorance (Jason Lorance) children Jacob Lenth and son Eli Lenth, Hailey Lenth (Tyler James), Jamie Lorance and Ava Lorance (Trevelle Teague) and Rylo Teague. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Thure Luther, Tracy Ellsworth JR Street, and Tony L Street, and sisters Crystal Marie Pueblo, Beverly Carey and Charolette Louis Kennedy.
