Bobby Ray Crisco

Bobby Ray Crisco, age 82, of Denton passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at his home. Mr. Crisco was born in Alamance County on May 24, 1938 to Curtis Daniel and Hope Inman Crisco. Bobby was a 1956 graduate of Seagrove High School. He served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1961, "4 years, 3 months, and 24 days." He was retired from the NC Department of Transportation and was a member of Balfour Baptist Church. Bobby enjoyed spending time at the Farmer Fire Department. He loved classic cars and participated in many Cruise-Ins. Bobby enjoyed fishing with his son and loved working on old Farmall tractors. He is survived by his wife, Patricia DeMent McAllister Crisco; children, Bobby "BR" Crisco, Jr. and wife Teisha of Asheboro, Martin Richard Crisco and wife Amy of Seagrove, Jill McAllister Gordon and husband Grant of Pinnacle, and George Burnie McAllister III and wife Sherry of Franklinville; grandchildren, Curtis Daniel Crisco III, Tiffany Marie Weaver, Aaron Shane Weaver, Emily Crisco, William Trevor Gordon, Candace McAllister Gordon, and Ivey McAllister Snider and husband John; and great grandchildren, Katie McAllister and Kason Snider. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Balfour Baptist Church, 1642 North Fayetteville Street in Asheboro with Rev. Gary Mason, Pastor Mark Wilburn, and Rev. Frankie Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard. The family would like to invite his Cruise-In buddies for one last cruise from the church to the cemetery. The funeral service will be live streamed on the Balfour Baptist Church Facebook page. Memorials may be made to Balfour Baptist Church, 1642 North Fayetteville Street, Asheboro, NC 27203 or Hospice of Randolph, 416 Vision Dr., Asheboro, NC 27203.
