Pastor Edward J. Salverson

Pastor Edward J. “Ed” Salverson, 87, of Morrisonville, passed away suddenly Wednesday September 9, 2020 at the CVPH Medical Center. He was born in Lackawanna, NY on June 23, 1933 the son of Kenneth J. and Nellie M. (Green) Salverson. Ed served sixteen years in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam. He was a member of the United Pentecostal Church International. Currently, Ed was serving as Pastor of the Apostolic Lighthouse Church. He enjoyed reading, playing cribbage and spending time with family and friends. Ed was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife of fifty five years Stella (Carpenter) Salverson, five daughters; Sherri Watson, Julia (Kyle) Grant, Margaret (David) Ouellette, Sheryl Salverson, Barbara Salverson, a granddaughter they raised as their child Rachelle Salverson, nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren, one great great grandson one sister Evelyn Paradiso, several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.at the Turnpike Wesleyan Church on the Military Turnpike. A funeral service will follow with Bishop Stephen Spite of Rochester officiating. Memorial donations may be offered to the Apostolic Lighthouse Church.
