Browne, 72, of Cary, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2020.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">He was born January 4, 1948 in Los Angeles, CA, the son of the late Sidney H. and June Elvira Browne.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Richard is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carmen E. Browne; his children, Selene (Derrick) Blaszkowski, Cassandra (Joe Bartosiak) Maglares, Sammy (Lauren) Browne and Joseph Browne; his grandchildren, William Bailey Browne, Victor Maglares, Zoe Maglares, Lucas Browne, Paige Browne, and Anna Blaszkowski; and his sister, Karen (John) Stidd.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Richard was very mathematically inclined. A true lover of math, he retired from KPMG as their Chief Actuary.</span></span><br /> <span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Additionally, Richard was a great bowler and was very proud of his 300 game. He enjoyed playing chess, even teaching his grandson to play. Going camping and spending time outdoors were also a favorite of his.</span></span><br /> <span style="font-size:16px;"><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;">Richard was a generous husband, father and grandfather.
