James Frederick Morris

James Frederick Morris, 83, of Bridgewater passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of Marie (Marino) Morris. Born August 8, 1937 in Everett, MA he was the son of the late Robert and Althea (Grace) Morris. James was a veteran of the United States Air Force, he enjoyed bowling and watching the Boston Red Sox. In addition to his wife, Marie, he is survived by a daughter, Susan Merenda and husband John of Taunton; a son, James F. Morris, Jr. and wife Majela of Michigan; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Jamie, Julie, D.J., Ashley and Ethan; ten great grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Massis; He was also the brother of the late Robert Morris. Following cremation a Memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, September 13th from 2-5:30PM in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 So. Main St., (Rt.28) West Bridgewater. (Limited seating due to COVID-19 restrictions) followed by a Memorial Service at 5:30PM. ************************* COVID-19 Funeral Home Capacity Restrictions******************** Russell & Pica Funeral Homes Guidelines when attending a funeral wake/service. All visitors must wear a MASK in the funeral home and on the funeral home property. All visitors will be advised by Funeral Home Staff on what Building Entrance to Use. All visitors will then follow SAFE DISTANCING MARKINGS that will guide to the Casket/Urn. All visitors may pause at Casket/Urn and then EXIT the Funeral Home. All visitors when returning to their cars will please exit the property to allow others to enter. All visitors will be able to greet family members from a safe distance but not able to touch.
