<p>Muriel Joanne Cunningham, born Muriel Joanne Hartley in Viola, OR on April 4th, 1933 to Lloyd & Ruby Hartley. She was the youngest of 2 children; preceded by her older brother Alan. Muriel passed away peacefully at 2:45 AM on August 28th, 2020 surrounded by family in the comfort of her home in Gladstone, OR.</p> <p>Muriel married Edwin Cunningham on December 7th, 1951; they were married for 46 years. Edwin passed away in May of 1997. Together they built a loving home for their 4 children; Greg the oldest of the 4 passed away in 2015 survived by 2 children Karen and Dean. Dixie the first daughter blessed grandpa and grandma with 6 more grandchildren; Denny, Lynnae, Tanya , Gina , Nick , and Derek. Monty, the third child who passed away in August of 2006 continued to bring joy to grandpa and grandma with his 4 children: Kyle, Casey, Celine and Braiden. Brenda the youngest; contributed 3 more grandsons to be cherished by grandpa and grandma: Vince, Travis, and Jacob.</p> <p>Muriel was a loving mother, a devoted wife, and an impeccable grandmother. She loved her family and all that knew her loved and cherished her as well. She was passionate about cooking, painting, going on long drives, rooting for the Trailblazers, watching Phil Michelson play golf, and watching the bull riders on tv with her grandchildren.</p> <p>Muriel is survived by her 2 daughters, 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, 10 nieces and nephew, and around 22 great nieces and nephews.</p> <p>You will be severely missed by all, Mom.
