Laura "Jean" Warwick

Laura Jean Warwick, “Jean or Jeannie” (89) of Pointblank, Texas, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 3, 2020. She was born to Elzie Dee and Mamie Lelia Skillern on October 6, 1930 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Jean married Howard W. Warwick in 1959 and moved to the Houston area. They were married 47 years until his death in 2006. Jean will be greatly missed by her son: Howard Lee Warwick and wife Paula of Pearland, Texas; daughter: Connie Christine Hodde and husband Bill of Pointblank, Texas; son in law: Ricardo Romo of Pearland, Texas; grandchildren: Jason Ruff and wife Margo, Vincent Warwick and wife Sheryl, Adana Ruff, Jared Wilbanks and wife Casi, Megan Dixon and husband Cody, Ricardo Romo Jr., Nayeli Romo, Vanessa Romo, Alejandro Romo; 17 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Jean was preceded in death by her husband: Howard W. Warwick; daughter: Amanda Jean Romo; parents: Elzie and Mamie; brother: Elzie M. Skillern; sister: Glenna Mae Dean and husband Raymond; and “brother” Charles Daniel. A Celebration of Jean’s life will be held on September 19, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Fellowship of Huntsville Church, Huntsville, Texas. Fellowship to follow service. Flowers gratefully declined. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fellowship of Huntsville Church in Jean Warwick’s loving memory.
