Eileen M. Lacey

Eileen Margaret Lacey, age 84, of West Mifflin, PA died Wednesday, September 9. Eileen was born July 12, 1936 in Avalon to the late Robert L. Koehl, Sr. and Mercedes (Wespy) Koehl. She is survived by her beloved children Shaun (Lynn) Lacey of McMurray, PA; Lynne (Lawrence) Denicola of Montgomery Village, MD; Thomas (Antoinette) Lacey of Camp Hill, PA; Michael (Charlene) Lacey of Bethel Park, PA; and Kevin (Kelley) Lacey of Springfield, OH. Eileen loved and cared deeply for all her family and especially her grandchildren, Kelly (Anthony) Bruno, Elizabeth (Paul) Ledbetter, Maura (Luke) Doney, Brett (Mallory), Joseph, Cecilia, Delaney, Karissa, and Aidan as well as her great-grandsons Calvin and Miles. She was predeceased by her sibling Robert L. Koehl, Jr., and her sibling Marcia Bell survives her. Eileen earned her Master of Science in dietetics from the University of Pittsburgh and taught home economics before retiring as the registered dietitian nutritionist for the West Mifflin School District. She was an avid gardener and swimmer as well as a founding member of Holy Spirit Parish. Services and burial will be private and under the care of JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236.
