Jessica A. Robitaille

Jessica A. (Castriotta) Robitaille, 48, a Smithfield resident since 1982, passed away at home, Tuesday, September 8, 2020. She was the beloved wife of Scott M. Robitaille. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Peter M. and Dorothy M. (Ardito) Castriotta of Smithfield. Mrs. Robitaille was a registered nurse for over 25 years at Rhode Island Hospital and more recently at Hope Health Hospice and Palliative Care. She was an active member of St. Philip Church in Greenville where she taught CCD classes. In addition, she enjoyed being a member of the PTA at William Winsor Elementary School, Smithfield. She loved spending time with her family and friends, as well as traveling, especially to Disney World which is forever her "happy place". She will always be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, and daughter. In addition to her husband, Scott, and her parents, she was the loving mother of Sarah A. Robitaille, Grace D. Robitaille, and Emma L. Robitaille all of Smithfield. She was the sister of Gina M. Castriotta of Smithfield and Matthew R. Castriotta and his wife Ann of Boxborough, MA. She was the aunt to nine beloved nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours Monday, September 14, 2020, from 4-7 PM in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at 9:30 AM in St. Philip Church. Face masks and social distancing guidelines will be observed for the visitation and the mass. Burial will be in Acotes Hill Cemetery, Chepachet. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society are greatly appreciated.
