Zarah Lea Jones, 60, passed away on September 7, 2020. She has been a resident of this area for the past 60 years and attended South Seminole Baptist Church and Venue Church. She enjoyed painting and any arts and crafts. She also enjoyed reading her bible and completing bible studies. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, children, and husband of 33 years. She is preceded in death by her father Joe Leonard Hayes Sr. and mother Charlus Lea Hayes; brother David Bryson and daughter Danielle Speed. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 33 years, Danny Speed; daughter Alice Jones; son Jonathan Long; grandchildren: Andrea Long, Caitlyn Qualls, Ryland Long, and Kyler Wilson-Jones; siblings: Marcella Rylee, Peggy Boyd, Joe Hayes Jr., Billy Wayne Hayes, Paul Bryson, and Joseph Hayes. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and close friends: Van and Colleen Autry. A service will be held at South Seminole Baptist Church located at 1201 S. Seminole Dr. Chattanooga, TN 37412 on Saturday September 12, 2020 at 11:00am.
