Robbie Hargrove

Funeral service for Robbie F. Hargrove, 76, of Lawton, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 14, 2020 at the Cowboy Church, Apache, Oklahoma with Rev. Dale Linebaugh, pastor officiating.     

Mr. Hargrove passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 in Lawton.

Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. 

Viewing will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, September 13, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  

Due to Covid-19 regulations please wear a mask and social distance at the funeral home, church, and cemetery.   

Robbie was born on October 15, 1943 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Virgil and Hazel (Ryans) Hargrove. He grew up and attended school in Lawton. He worked as a truck driver from the age of 21 until his retirement in 2018. He also worked on his farm. Robbie married Kaye Livingston on April 22, 1969 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He enjoyed drag racing and mini sprints with the kids as well as attending stock shows with his daughter. He was a member of the Cowboy Church of Apache, Oklahoma and the Chattanooga Riding Club.   

He is survived by  his wife, Kaye, of the home; his sons: Thomas Saunders and his wife Lisa of Oklahoma City, OK, Bryan Hargrove of Lawton, OK, Robbie Hargrove of Lawton, OK and Roger Hargrove of Lawton, OK; his Daughters: Karla Nettles and husband, Richard of Lawton, OK;Tresa Pippin and her husband Mark and Pamela Weston, All of Lawton, OK; his sisters and brothers in law: Patricia Gannon, Sharon and Jim Shaw, and Kathie & Jeff Drake, all of Elgin, OK; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Bryan Hargrove; his brothers, Dwayne Hargrove and Bernie Hargrove; and his sister, Judy Setzer.
