Arthur Leslie EVANS

<p>Arthur, better known to his family and friends as Art, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020.</p> <p>Art is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Pat; son, Michael; daughter, Heidi; grandchildren, Kirk, Cameron, Faith, and Brady; brother, Warren (Bernice); sister, Margaret Gerrard; sisters in law, June Koppa and Sandra Evans; as well as several nieces and nephews, extended family members, and friends.&nbsp; Art was predeceased by his parents, Gertrude and Samuel; brothers, Clarence and Lawrence (Diane); half brothers, Allen, Norman, Ralph, and Charlie; brothers in law, John Koppa and Bob Gerrard.</p> <p>Art was a founding member of the Beaver Creek Fire Department, served on the Board of&nbsp;&nbsp;<em>Bread of Life&nbsp;</em> for 7 years, delivered Meals-on-Wheels, a member for many years of the Trinity Church and the Sunshine Club.</p> <p>The family would like to extend a heartfelt &nbsp;thank you &nbsp;to the wonderful staff at WCGH and Rainbow Gardens for the compassionate care they gave Art during his stay with them.</p> <p>There will be a service to honour Art at a later date when the Covid 19 restrictions have been lifted.&nbsp; Cremation has taken place.&nbsp; In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honour Art`s memory may do so by making a donation in his name to a charity of their choosing.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Arthur, better known to his family and friends as Art, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020.

Art is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Pat; son, Michael; daughter, Heidi; grandchildren, Kirk, Cameron, Faith, and Brady; brother, Warren (Bernice); sister, Margaret Gerrard; sisters in law, June Koppa and Sandra Evans; as well as several nieces and nephews, extended family members, and friends.  Art was predeceased by his parents, Gertrude and Samuel; brothers, Clarence and Lawrence (Diane); half brothers, Allen, Norman, Ralph, and Charlie; brothers in law, John Koppa and Bob Gerrard.
