Dorothy Jean Teusink , 87, of Newaygo, went home to be with Jesus on September 9, 2020. She was born on October 14, 1932 to Frank and Rose (Schutt) Vogel in Orange City, Iowa. She graduated from Lynden Christian High School, Lynden, Washington in 1950. On December 28, 1951 she married William Wierenga and he preceded her in death on February 28, 1988. On March 15, 1991 she married Marvin Teusink in Grant. Dorothy lovingly treasured her large family and numerous friends. She was a member of Grant Christian Reformed Church. She was passionate about mission work and volunteered with S.O.W.E.R. for many years. Dorothy is survived by her husband Marvin, three daughters: Vicki Vogt, Carol (Tim) Hirt, Laura (Edward) Culberson; two sons: William (Dianne) Wierenga, Dan (Shelly) Wierenga; 54 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; three step-daughters: Karen (Jon) Dalton, Nora (Steven) Eastway, Mary (Don) Feltner; four step-sons: Morris (Linzi) Teusink, John (Betty) Teusink, Paul (Monica) Teusink, Phil (Dawn) Teusink; two Brothers: Albert Vogel, Bob (Jean) Vogel; sister Ruth Vogel; numerous neices & nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, daughter Deborah Redding, sister Margaret Morris, and brother Frank Vogel. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2020, 10:00 am - 11:00 am with funeral services at 11:00 am at the Grant Christian Reformed Church, Grant, Michigan, with Pastor Dave Brower officiating.
