Edye Quinton

Edye Quinton February 25, 1953 - September 9, 2020 Edye was born February 25, 1953 in Toronto, Ontario and was always on the go. Edye loved travelling, her dogs Bailey, Dakota and Riley, music and the computer. She had a love of cooking and good food. Check out Edye in Newfoundland for some awesome recipes. Edye’s pride and joy was her son Christopher and his beautiful family. It is safe to say that it was Bill who stole Edye’s heart. Their love was forged on the hottest day in the world, July 4, 1987 in Mississauga, Ontario. Bill and Edye travelled and cruised but mostly enjoyed each others company and that of friends and family. Edye was predeceased by her parents, George and Violet Beeston and brothers George and Ernie and niece Jackie Jones. Left to carry on Edye’s love for life are her husband Bill, her son Christopher (Virginia), grandson Zachary, granddaughters Tyler and Christina, great grandson Zayne and sisters-in-law, Jean Quinton, Gloria Jones, and Doreen Beeston, nieces Marty Lamoureux and Gail Lenters and nephews David Jones, Kenny Quinton and Robert Beeston, great niece Amanda Lopez, great-great niece Selena Lopez, cousin Barb Desroche and friends across the country. Regrettably, due to the Covid-19 regulations, the service is by invitation only. Thank you for all your kind words, cards, food, calls and personal visits. Your kindness has been greatly appreciated. Rev. Joan Antle will conduct the funeral service on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 2pm at St John the Divine Anglican Church. Interment to follow at the Buchans Community Cemetery.
