Marie S. Biesterfeld nee Soderquist age 89, of Downers Grove and formerly of Naperville, passed away on Wednesday,September 9, 2020 at Lexington Health Care of La Grange. She was born July 25, 1931 in Wilton, N.D. Marie was employed for over 30 years at Packer Engineering in Downers Grove and enjoyed the activities of both the Naperville and Downers Grove Senior Citizen Centers where she played Mah Jong. She is survived by her children Robert (Donna) Biesterfeld and Cheryl (Robert) Bartos and her step grand daughters Nicole and Kylie Johnson and many in laws nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond, grandsons Eric and Scott Biesterfeld and a brother Harold Soderquist. A private visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020 at the Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory, 516 S.Washington St. Naperville. Guests are welcome to join the procession at approximately 1:15 p.m. from the funeral home to a socially distanced graveside service at the Naperville Cemetery.
