Sharpsburg, MD - Frances Viola Clipp, 76, of Sharpsburg, MD passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2020

at Doey's House in Hagerstown, MD.

 

She was born on February 21, 1944 in Jefferson County, WV to the late Harvey L. and Annie Elizabeth Domer Shirley.

 

Frances was a 1962 graduate of Boonsboro High School in Boonsboro, MD.

 

She was employed by the Red Byrd Restaurant in Keedysville, MD for many years until her retirement.

 

She was of the Brethren Faith.

 

She is survived by her husband Wayne Taylor Clipp of Sharpsburg, MD; son Darrin W. Clipp of Sharpsburg, MD;

brother Harvey Shirley of Philadelphia, PA; step sister Wilma Kretzer of Sharpsburg, MD; 1 granddaughter; 1 great 

granddaughter.

 

She was predeceased by four sisters Irene, Mary, Margaret, and Evelyn and two brothers Henry Lee and Harry.
