<p>Alexander Douglas, 47, of New Castle passed away the morning of September 9, 2020 at UPMC Jameson.</p><p><br></p><p>Alexander was born on October 29, 1972 in Washington D.C. His father, Alex Douglas Sr. survives. His mother, Diana Brown-Gaither preceded him in death.</p><p><br></p><p>He was married to the former Shaclecha Stoddard.</p><p><br></p><p>Alexander worked as a laborer in the entertainment industry.</p><p><br></p><p>Alexander had served his country as a member of the United States Navy.</p><p><br></p><p>He enjoyed wrestling and was an avid Washington Redskins fan. A loving husband, father and grandfather his greatest joy was the time he spent with his family.</p><p><br></p><p>Alexander is survived by his children, Alexander Nelson-Douglas, Michael Hamilton (Ashley), Devonte Douglas, Alaze’ Douglas, Dominic Douglas, Haley Simmers, Dae’ Shawn Douglas, Kamara Douglas, Daunte’ Douglas, Xander Lung, Zoie Douglas, Rome Douglas, Karmalita Douglas, Alayia Douglas, Brennon Douglas, Demetrius Douglas, several brothers and sisters and eight grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be on Friday 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Ed &amp; Don DeCarbo Funeral Home &amp; Crematory, 941 South Mill St.</p><p><br></p><p>Visitors are required to ware face masks and practice social distancing.</p><p><br></p><p>A service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Richard Nero will officiate.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
