Joseph Michael Hensell, age 51, of Grand Rapids, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, September 9, 2020. Joey was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Ann Hensell in 2014. He leaves behind and will be deeply missed by his father, Jack A. Hensell; and by his aunt and uncle, Barbara and David Gabrick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, September 15, 11:00 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish (1935 Plymouth Ave SE) with Rev. Troy A. Nevins celebrating. The family will greet friends and relatives one hour prior (10 am – 11am) to the service at church. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Prayers and contributions may be offered to the Killgoar Foundation for IHM School.
