Annie E. Glass

<p>Annie E. Glass was born on August 27, 1944 in Brooksville, Mississippi to the union of the late Frank and Maggie Cotton.</p> <p>Annie moved to Benton Harbor, MI in 1959. She later moved to South Bend, IN in 1992. She worked as a production associate until her health failed and she retired. Annie was lovingly called &quot;Sugar Pie&quot; or &quot;Tome&quot; by family and friends. Annie joined the Macedonia Community Church under the leadership of Pastor Richard Robinson. She was an Honorary Member and served on the Pastor Aid Committee.&nbsp;Annie also loved being around her family and talking about her memories from being down South when she was younger.</p> <p>Annie passed away on September 9, 2020 with her Willie by her side.</p> <p>Annie leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Nettie Glass of South Bend, IN; two sons, Willie Glass, Jr. of South Bend, IN and Frank Glass of Benton Harbor, MI.</p> <p>Annie had a total of 19 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, two sisters, three brothers, three sisters-in-law, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will truly miss her. She was preceded in death by her parents;&nbsp;two sons, LC and William Glass;&nbsp;two sisters and three brothers.&nbsp;</p> <p>A Celebration of Life will be held on September 26, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Palmer Funeral Homes - West Chapel, 2702 Lincoln Way West, South Bend, IN 46628. Friends may call on the family for one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
