<div class="embed-responsive embed-responsive-16by9"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="embed-responsive-item" frameborder="0" mozallowfullscreen="" scrolling="no" src="https://portal.midweststreams.com/services/iframe/12773" webkitallowfullscreen=""></iframe></div> <p>Evelyn Arnett, 95, of Northwood, ND peacefully joined her Lord Jesus Christ Wednesday, Sept 9, 2020 at Northwood Deaconess Health Center in Northwood.&nbsp; Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Ebenezer Free Lutheran Church in Northwood.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Evelyn was born May 24, 1925 to Mr &amp; Mrs I.E. Hoel near Abercrombie, ND, the youngest of 5 children.&nbsp; She attended school in Abercrombie graduating high school in 1943.&nbsp; She then attended and graduated from St. Luke&rsquo;s School of Nursing in Fargo, ND, and came to Northwood in 1946.</p> <p>Evelyn&rsquo;s was a life of service to others and her community.&nbsp; She worked for 13 years at Deaconess Hospital caring for and comforting patients.&nbsp; Here in Northwood she met the love of her life and in 1949, she married Arvey Arnett, together they owned and operated funeral homes in Northwood and Hatton.&nbsp; She was an active member of Ebenezer Free Lutheran and loved her bible study group.&nbsp; Evy was a member of Literary Club, American Legion Auxiliary, and served on the Northwood Museum board for several years.&nbsp;</p> <p>Evy was a special lady with wisdom, faith, and a sense of humor that she used to spread her wisdom and generously shared her faith with others.&nbsp; She will be missed.&nbsp;</p> <p>Evelyn was preceded by Arvey, her beloved, who went to be with his Lord, July 15, 2005.&nbsp; Also by her parents, her two brothers, Elmer &amp; Melvin, her two sisters, Pauline and Sylvia, two nieces, Roxann &amp; Dianne and nephew Don.&nbsp; Evelyn is survived by several nieces and nephews, Mary Ann, Sara, David, Ellis Jr., Gail, Stephanie, Candace, Roxanne, Rebecca, Craig, Nancy, Shaun, Stacey and their families.</p> <p>Evy&#39;s funeral service can be live streamed at Ebenezer Free Lutheran Church&#39;s website:&nbsp;https://www.ebenezerflc.org/live-streaming/&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Evelyn Arnett, 95, of Northwood, ND peacefully joined her Lord Jesus Christ Wednesday, Sept 9, 2020 at Northwood Deaconess Health Center in Northwood.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Ebenezer Free Lutheran Church in Northwood.  

Evelyn was born May 24, 1925 to Mr & Mrs I.E. Hoel near Abercrombie, ND, the youngest of 5 children.  She attended school in Abercrombie graduating high school in 1943.  She then attended and graduated from St. Luke’s School of Nursing in Fargo, ND, and came to Northwood in 1946.
