We are saddened by the sudden and very unexpected passing of Joseph Elwood Richard of Swan River, Manitoba and formally of Arichat, Cape Breton.

 

Joseph passed away September 1, 2020 at the age of 44 years. Joseph was born on August 26, 1976 to Betty and Leonard Richard.

 

Joseph leaves to mourn; his mother Betty Richard; sisterValerie; brothers David and Steve; his six children Jordan, Alyssa, Brianna, Tyrone (mom Tammy), Emma and Brandon (mom Brenda); 3 grandchildren Leah, Charlotte and  Benjamin; nieces Nicole, Jamie, Carla and Kaylin; nephews Tyler, Austin, Raymond, Colton and Max; close family and friends Shara Richard, Edith DeCoste, Harry Cychmistruck and Denise Rodgers and his  godmother Diane Boudreau and many aunts and uncles.

 

Joseph was predeceased by his father Leonard Joseph (Buddy) Richard; grandparents on his mother and father’s side.

 

Joseph was loved by many and he will be truly missed by everyone who knew him.

 

 

 

In keeping with Joseph’s wishes,

Cremation has taken place and

a private family service has been held.

 

Cremation will take place at

Heritage Memorial Garden,

Swan River, Manitoba
