Cheryl (Shockey) Matthews, 61, of Redmond, passed away September 4, 2020, at St. Charles Medical Center, Bend. A celebration of Cheryl’s life will be held at a later date. Cheryl Lynn Kuhn was born March 2, 1959, in Redmond, Oregon, to Ernest and Joanne (Johnson) Kuhn. She was raised and attended school in Redmond, later working for some years in data input for a number of area businesses. Cheryl loved animals, her plants and flowers, but was an especially dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was deeply loved and will be sorely missed by her husband of 33 years, Steve; her son, Jason Shockey of Redmond; a daughter, Jennifer (Tim) Stemmerman of Eugene, OR; step-children, Sean (Yesenia) Matthews and Melissa Goodman, all of Houston, TX; siblings, David (Debbie) and Vicki, all of Redmond, OR and 7 grandchildren.
